Born October 23, 2007 at 2:33 pm. 7lbs 13 ozs. 20 inches.

Maconium in the sac so the pediatricians scooped her away. Brother Timothy was the first visitor. He didn't get too close but he didn't really want to leave because, "she's too cute." Then Aunt Abby and Grandma Lynn came. She had some gurgling and maybe extra mucus in her lungs so after the first 2 hours she went to the NICU. She went on some antibiotics. Mama and daddy went to a different room. Daddy visited her in the NICU while Mama rested. Then he ran some errands including buying a car seat. Both went down to visit in the night 3 times to feed her. She drank a little each time. One time she got the hiccups and sounded like a tiny bird. Mama and daddy got some sleep in between feedings.

This morning she came back into the room with us. She had her ears checked. She can hear. Grandma Dorothy came and fed her lunch and an afternoon snack. She ate almost the whole 2 oz both times! In the evening Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Brad came just as Rebekah went for her antibiotics. When she came back both held her. Now it's almost bedtime. We're all sleepy.
